I think @SenTedCruz is desperately trying to rebrand from the “inspired a deadly insurrection” motherfucker to the “left my constituents to freeze to death so I could go to Cancun” motherfucker, but luckily he can be both. He’s just that big a motherfucker.

This Motherfucker!!!!! I am in West TX - we weren't hit as bad in comparison to the east side. But the entire state is struggling - I hope we finally elect this asshole out of office once and for all.

Mexico is only convenient for you when its on vacation during a pandemic.

Yeah - we got really lucky in comparison to other parts of the state. Even when it snowed, we were very lucky to recover the way we did. I have friends in Dallas/ Corpus tho - so to see this asshole taking a vacation while so many are suffering is so infuriating.

Well, Amarillo and the Panhandle is odd because while it is technically in Texas, they are completely different, climate wise. My parents have had several inches of snow before this. They get actual winter. So the infrastructure up there is all winterized and they know what to do. Houston? Yeah, this is a once in a generation type storm.

Yeah - in El Paso its more dry heat in the desert (we freak when the city reaches 30 F). But yeah - once you start reaching the Panhandle/ East TX then its a whole different dynamic that you're dealing with. Which is weird b/c we are not THAT far away from the panhandle....

climate is crazy. When i went camping in death valley, 4 hours of driving (which was actually just 85 miles) later, i was in snow capped peaks.

I thought I knew heat having lived in the desert all my life but when I was passing through Death Valley in the middle of the summer.... Noooo. That is legit hell on earth!! So the fact that there is snow there now is legit mind blowing.
