Also big news in the #NCIS world: Mark Harmon’s future - and that of TV’s No. 1 show - are up in the air. The actor is rumored to be ready to leave, but would be willing to return for a handful of episodes if CBS renews it for a 19th season.

Holy shit, I thought Mark would stay until the very end and there'd be a few more seasons at least. Also a little sad the JAG reboot never actually happened since they fucked over Harm and Mac for no reason. FOREVER BITTER.

LOL at yet another spin-off, especially one set in Hawaii so soon after H50 ended, but I'm intrigued and will likely check it out.

I really thought Mark would go down with that ship. Wow.

NCIS Hawaii - I'd probably watch it. And filming shows in Hawaii employs so many people, it's great.
I wonder if any of the H50 crew would return - they're all in the same universe, right?

Or more likely East Asian actors whom they cast as Hawaiian characters.

It has been on for so long now, maybe it is time to end it.

This. It should've ended 10 year ago. But CBS like to keep popular enough shows running until the wheels come off. See; the original CSI & Murder She Wrote.
