When craft store had American Girl events, I got to learn all about them. I know from their parents that they are ridiculously expensive. Apparently, there is an American Girl shop somewhere. Most of them got used ones off of Ebay. XD

There used to only be one, which was in Chicago in their headquarters building. Then, they decided to try and reach more people and opened a ton of stores in malls. And yes, they are expensive, but the accessories make the doll prices look reasonable by comparison.

There's a huge store at the Grove in Los Angeles. I saw Michelle Williams and Busy Phillips in there years ago with their daughters.
