I feel like this questions comes up for a lot for casts of big shows. I think I saw a topic on reddit about Lost a few days ago.

Only a handful of people only ever make it big; and so many TV actors are mainly beloved for the characters they play...and they can be good actors as well, but unless they get that next great project, it's kinda game over for the big times.

Yep exactly. Name me someone from Lost who has even remotely had a career?? Like what happened to Josh Holloway? HE totally could've been the next Clooney. Since Lost it's been complete crickets.

I mean a lot of the Lost people have been working steadily on TV since it ended. Which many actors would kill for. Josh Holloway had a show where he was the lead for 3 years, it just never had much buzz. But EL is the one who got lead roles in blockbusters.

I guess that's true. I didn't see the Hobbit movies and I don't watch Marvel movies outside of Into the Spiderverse so I didn't remember that lol

Evangeline yes but the rest of them? They've had good careers?? I feel like Terry has been in a million cancelled shows, haven't heard of Emilie since, Dom or Michael idk what they've done. I guess DDK was in Hawaii 5-0 which is cool.

Emilie was a regular on Once Upon A Time for 6 years, Michael was one on Person of Interest for 5 and now is on his second year of Evil, Dominic has been doing a nature/travel show for ages, Maggie Grace is on Fear the Walking Dead, Yunjin had a ABC show for some years and is still a big working Star in Korea. Pretty much all the main cast has been working and getting a steady paychecks, just no projects as big as Lost. EL is the one who got movie stardom. The only one I can think of that disappeared off the face of earth is Matthew Fox, I don't know if that was his own choice or not.

I feel like the allegations of violence tanked his career, and rightly so.

DDK is more on the producing side these days, his company adapted The Good Doctor for the US. I often see his company on Deadline.

also, something interesting with the LOST cast, is that quite a few of them got taken care of in a sense by the showrunners or people involved with LOST and got them roles in their other shows.
