'The 100' creator breaks down that series finale ending and explains 'the moral of the story' https://t.co/Us9oPGe4fc - Entertainment Weekly (@EW) October 1, 2020
i mean there was glaring absences, but from my understanding, the people in the final scene are just the characters that were alive in the end, who chose not to ~transcend and instead stay to live on earth until death. anyone that died before the finale (gabriel, bellamy, monty, harper, lincoln, abby, kane, jasper, lexa, etc, which i'm assuming is who op is alluding to?) are just dead, so that's why they're not there,
Yep just Clarke's friends who were alive to transcend, or in Emori's case her mind drive.
My question was more about who that was alive to come back didn't, other than Madi, as I didn't notice any absences? Obvs the rest couldn't as they're all dead dead and can't lmao
lincoln (the furthest stretch i now), wells, bellamy, monty, are the big 4 i noticed. i didn't watch the show anymore and i couldn't bring myself to tune in even for the finale to octavia or raven. so idk maybe there's a reason they didn't go back/get a new chance? or whatever happened at the end lol
Ohhhhhh I see I see, but like they're all dead so couldn't come back at the end. And re: the transcended being taking the form of the person the character regretted most/learnt from most/was their great love or whatever, for Clarke and Raven (and Cadogan) who were the ones who interacted with the being, none of those characters were that? I know everyone always mentions Wells, but didn't he die like episode 3 of season 1 or something?! Would have been extra weird to have him come back imho
