i mean there was glaring absences, but from my understanding, the people in the final scene are just the characters that were alive in the end, who chose not to ~transcend and instead stay to live on earth until death. anyone that died before the finale (gabriel, bellamy, monty, harper, lincoln, abby, kane, jasper, lexa, etc, which i'm assuming is who op is alluding to?) are just dead, so that's why they're not there,

Yep just Clarke's friends who were alive to transcend, or in Emori's case her mind drive.

My question was more about who that was alive to come back didn't, other than Madi, as I didn't notice any absences? Obvs the rest couldn't as they're all dead dead and can't lmao
