tenet being released was such a shitty move. (despite me not knowing shit, i love the shipping stuff coming out tho i'm ngl) nolan deserves to have a hammer taken to his balls for this and theaters should simply remain closed.

Nolan showed his colors with that move. Basically putting his movie above the safety of the public.

On a side note, your icon of Dally is just doing the best things. I loved him so much in that movie.

I wish we had more footage of him. I could read a whole novel just about his character. I would have welcomed a whole movie of Matt Dillon and all his handsomeness back then.

he's got a really strong filmography imo. i've never seen him phone it in. i actually love that we don't now much about dally, it lends to his coldness, his overall arc. it's also not the same, but check out rumble fish!

He's such a great actor! Thanks for the rec, I'm going to go hunt it down now. Hopefully I can stream it from somewhere. Feel free to give me some more Matt Dillon recs

i also recommend him in "a kiss before dying" and if you can stomach a sad ending, "the saint of fort washington" oh and "drugstore cowboy" the movie he SHOULD have been oscar nommed for

Not just the public safety issue, I bet there were a lot of individual theaters that opened back up and ended up losing money because barely anyone even came. So they wasted the money it cost them to re-open. I would bet that some actually end up closing permanently.

I refuse to give him money for that movie now. I'm not going to potentially risk getting sick for a movie... I feel so bad for all those theatres who had to open back up. This has been such a long and drawn out process, and it just sucks that people are making it even harder for some struggling businesses.
