September 15, 2020 The post-Tenet delays continue: Greenland, the newest disaster film starring Gerald Butler, is moving out of its September 25th release date. Its new 2020 date is to be determined.
Before the delay, it was the only scheduled wide-release film to hit theaters between now and October 9. One of those October 9th releases -- Robert De Niro's originally-scheduled-for-release-in-Feburary-2018 The War with Grandpa -- has already leaked online.
At this point, it's likely theater chains will start closing off stuggling locations soon. Can't stay afloat when the next major film on the schedule is still 50+ days away.
