So sad. Sarah has always been my wife's face GA member because she's a disaster.

I hope she can beat it

This is so upsetting, I hope the other 4 girls can put aside their awkwardness and all rally around her.

That's a relief to hear, and it looks like Cheryl just followed both Sarah and Nadine again. It's a shame that they were on the outside of a painfully obvious little clique in the first place, but this is a step in the right direction.

That's awful. So young to have breast cancer and then have it spread. I hope she recovers quickly.

Frightening to be undergoing cancer treatment at the best of times, but especially during a pandemic. My father pushed to start radiotherapy in January this year (one of his doctors wanted him to wait until April) very thankful that he did as he was finished by end of Feb. We've been in a social bubble with my parents only since then as it is still having an effect.

It makes me so angry that a lot of the time cancer isn't detected until it's spread/in the later stages when so much of treatment seems dependent on early detection. I wish we had yearly cancer screenings for everyone for at least some types.

i agree. i don't think you can even get free breast cancer mammograms here until you're 50, and even then its only every 3 years.

Same. I know a lot of biotech companies are now moving towards early detection, but unless we make it a standard in medicine I doubt it will be affordable.

Me too, my partner's mum was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer earlier this year, and then died 4 days later from it, it was crazy crazy fast. She didn't have any noticable side effects until then, legit was casually getting lunch with her friends a few days before. If there was a yearly screening or something it could've been caught a long time ago and she might have had a chance.
