Depeche Mode have been blessing our ears since 1981 and many pop and rock artists and producers have cited them as their inspiration or reason they got into music. Even Lady Gaga herself at some point was going to make a cover of their song but unfortunately we're still waiting for that one.

Besides SHINee I love EXO and same , ! It's overall harmless lol but it's funny

I like Andy a lot, like maybe he doesn't do much for DM musically but he is the heart of the band and the one who kept them together on their worst times and that is a lot, like when it was his birthday most messages on Twitter were congratulating him but a few of them called him useless, blamed him for Alan's departure, said he was a parasite, etc, it has been 25+ years, let it go!

I have nothing against Alan and nobody can't deny how a fantastic musician he is, he truly gave the band their sound and made a lot for them, but he is the one who left , I hope he is happy and fine now, he deserves it, a very talented man, it's a shame what happened tbh , but the band still made fantastic music without him , Suffer Well was after him and I love that song, and honestly Spirits it's one of my fave albums, I love Cover me so much .

Yeah, he looks very fine on that tour lmao, my sister says the same, but I normally focus on Dave, that man can get it even at his almost 60 😍😍

lol are you literally me? i also love(d) exo! not much anymore but yeah, i was in the fandom for a while.

ia andy was the one who held the band together, still does, without him there'd be no dm at this point. no ill will on alen but my hot take is that he thought he was fleeing a sinking ship and that the band would be done without him or just in general (because they were all on the verge of dying for various reasons) but they put themselve back together so kudos to them AND FLETCH lol.

aw no unfortunately i don't have a stan twitter, i do have a barely active tumblr account for reposting stupid 80s synthpop stan shit but i'm just not an active person in general, i feel awkward in fandom spaces shouting into the void lmao. but you'd be disappointed in me as a shawol anyway, i basically "left" kpop a few years ago because i felt burnt out and started to find the general kpop fandom toxic and it got unbearable (look at me pulling an alan... oop!). i just come back to stan whenever shinee or taemin have a comeback but even then, i don't follow taemin solo stuff as closely, my current shawol activity is basically "liking key's insta posts". you can share you twitter account so i can lurk tho (i do have a lurking account lol)

Yeah, Alan probably thought that, considering that Dave was dealing with his heroine addiction and Martin with his alcoholism , he thought that the band was over, but thanks to Andy that didn't happen and we have had DM for 25+ years and counting!! That's why I can't help to love Andrew, without him one of the best groups ever would have disbanded , we have to give credit when credit is due

I get you re: fandoms, kpop fandoms in general are very toxic but also that's Stan Twitter (and Twitter in general lbr) I just follow people who like the things I like and don't fight over petty things, but it gets exahauting sometimes so I take breaks, I'll give you my @ by DM !

I really like Taemin's solo stuff tbh, but part of me wanted him to enlist with the rest of SHINee so we'll get all of them for a long time instead of waiting for a CB and then him having to leave, especially considering he hasn't done much besides the mess that is SuperM 🙄🙄 (I think it's clear I don't like that group at all lmao)

with exo - it's nothing dramatic, i didn't cancel them or anything lol. it was kind of a silly situation, i became a "stan" in whopping 2011 before they even debuted properly and dedicated my time and stanning energy to the group that was a bunch of blank slates basically lol. they had no personalities, weren't allowed to do interviews, they didn't go on shows... the fandom back then had an intense underdog mentatlity because exo weren't hitting it big from the start and it was a fandom mostly focused on fic and speculation because there was literally nothing else, it was bizarro world. it was a blessing when they did hit it big but with that came the exodus, first kris then luhan then tao. luhan was my personal fave so after his departure my interest fizzled out. i still came back to the fandom for comebacks up until whatever was after ko ko bop, then i just stopped caring, but by that point i just got tired of the kpop fandom tocixity in general, and the (exo) fandom changed so much that it was unrecognizable, everyone in my fandom spaces became aggressive and obsessed with numbers, endless streaming, bulkbuying, tweeting to clean the searches or something + mentions of the prev members were banned, the bts "rivarly" that existed in everyone's head didn't help. i will say though that it wasn't on twitter so it was just my personal experience but mostly i just got bored.

don't even get me started on that jopping group... 💀 i bopped to the song but i think they're the most shameless cashgrab sm has ever done (free taemin!)

Hmm, I get you, EXO fandom isn't as annoying as it used to be or at least in my experience it has been mostly fun , so it seems they have changed but some of them truly are the worst, idk why kpop fandoms are so annoying and toxic in general, that's why I need to take breaks , people really take it as a serious business and I hate it
