In the spirit of using my energy getting angry on behalf of other people, and not productively for myself, please join me for what I personally consider The Worst Emmy Snubs in Recent History (that I can remember off the top of my head right now).

I haven’t seen the morning show but I really only heard bad things about it so I refuse to believe steve and jennifer were better than bob and rhea.
Their snubs are the worst for me this year

I feel guilty saying something about a show I've never seen but I know deep in my bones that Steve Carrell and Jennifer Anniston were not better and not more deserving.

they're not even better than bob and rhea in their best work w/e that is so there's no way there were more deserving for the morning show.

I think Steve as Michael Scott gave a genuinely good performance and he deserved an emmy for it but tbh I can't think of a truly great performance he's had since. He showed promise in Little Miss Sunshine and then peaked in the Office which is.... tragic lmao.

Meanwhile, Bob Odenkirk (coincidentally the runner up to play Michael Scott on the Office) has only continued to get better and better. Current day Steve has nothing on current day Bob.

tbh I forgot about michael scott. I was just thinking of his dramatic work which has mostly been unmemorable. ia about bob.

I really liked the morning show, but I don’t think the actors deserved noms except maybe billy crudup. Jennifer and Steve both just got to be angry and stressed out a lot but I don’t think they brought a ton of nuance to their roles or anything, they just yell and slam stuff.

I feel the opposite about BCS - I haven’t been able to make it past season 2 ever bc the story is just too slow to me but the acting was always fantastic, lol.

You need to go back to season 3 when Gus gets introduced. It picks up a lot.

It is still a slow burn and will never have the pace of Breaking Bad. But it gets so much better.

I watched both shows. Jennifer and Steve are good. But not Bob and Rhea good.
