I've had like, a different thing happen. This girl claimed I was raped by my best friend. I was not. I am a survivor of sexual abuse, but not by him.

There was an accusation made against another person at a get-together. I was perpetually trying to put the pieces together because they didn’t make sense. I was like whatever, you know it’s not my place to be like “hey, that shit doesn’t make sense because I saw otherwise.” My interpretation might be wrong, whatever.

A long time after, I was talking to my friend one time, and he just randomly starts telling me about an incident that he saw go down between the two people. He was retelling the story just as I had remembered everything going down. He didn’t know about the accusations and I just sat there letting him talk. I never told him what the third party had accused the other guy of, and I just sat there eating my food. I did this because I had tried bringing it up before with the accuser’s friend (which was entirely my bad) and she denounced me of being a liar and that everything the accuser had said was true.
