I rewatched some eps of Sorry For Your Loss this week. I love that show so much. Elizabeth Olsen stars as a young widow trying to grapple with her husband's death and she's really good and the eps are really good. I wish she did more quality stuff like this because when she's good in a role she's really good.

It's a Facebook original (lol I remember making fun of them so much when they announced they were doing streaming content and then I became a sucker for this show) so you can watch all the eps there. It ends on a bit of a cliff hanger but the second season is coming out in a couple of months and I am sooooo excited.

I'm always surprised every time I remember that Facebook has original programming. Now there's a total marketing failure.

I have yet to watch it but I (kind of) know the girl who created it, Kit Steinkellner. She’s the sweetest.

I went to the Ex yesterday and saw Jann Arden perform. She was great, and the whole cast of her show was there too. It was wall to wall gays.

Today I watched the most recent Underworld movie which I may or may not have seen before. I can't tell because the movies are all the same. Now I'm watching The Mummy with Tom Cruise because my wife hates me or something.

The only thing I liked about the most recent underworld were all the platinum blonde vampires lol

Lara Pulver was fun in it too. I'm not going to lie, I've already forgotten almost everything that happened in it.

Rented Brightburn but I hate it. I'm struggling to get through it because I paid $5 and refunds are more trouble than they're worth. Every second scene is Elizabeth Banks running after the annoying brat.

A Vigilante with Olivia Wilde was good. I can see why people might think it's slow or boring but imo she does a great job.

Yeah the idea is great (see Powers or The Boys)! And horror is my favorite genre, and I like Elizabeth Banks. I just thought it was by-the-numbers jump scares and repetitive and I know they were constrained by time but it wasn't fleshed out enough for me to care about the whos or whys. I also kinda wish it'd been about a little girl who gave up trying to be cute and nice and went full supervillain.

Summer movies were dead ass disappointing this year. What a shame at these choices.

my husband had never seen a single episode of seinfeld so we're rewatching that now. i definitely can't enjoy kramer's antics as much as i originally did knowing now what a piece of shit michael richards is. JLD remains a queen. also it's amazing how unfunny jerry is (both in his standup and as a character).

we're also watching bojack horseman, currently in the middle of season 4. this show is incredible and so slept on critically since it's animated. it's legit one of the best written shows i've ever watched.

i love Bojack and S4 was their best, imo. his mom's storyline was masterfully told, and Ep 11 especially was amazing.

i never found kramer funny to begin with tbh
george and elaine were where it was at. jerry was more of a straight man which is weird considering he was the comedian character.

yeah jerry's definitely a necessary foil for all of the crazy around him. i just forgot how much jerry standup they fold in during the early eps, and it's SO BAD lol
