Which means they'll be in keeping with other studio's streaming services in having a channel just for their content, which again, isn't Hulu.
It's a smart move financially. It allows them to keep their brand intact (which they work hard to do) and keep the price point there low...for now (I'm sure they'll jack that up later, LOL). And they can then potentially bundle it with Hulu for a slightly higher price, to get all the content they won't get on the Disney + channel. And if people don't want to get Hulu and not pay, people can currently watch that with ads, for free.
Disney are bastards, but they aren't stupid bastards.
