Quero muito mesmo que o Brasil melhore, mas do jeito que tá parece que fica tudo igual ou só piora. Não quero morar fora pra sempre, esse é um dos meus maiores medos, de chegar a um ponto que não tem condições de voltar.

We are so fucked.

me, too. i've been living in the US since i was 13. my goal is to work for the national park service here or the usgs for some time, then go back to brazil and work to better our national park system, create a national campaign to educate the public on the values of preservation (and this includes indigenous peoples rights to their lands), etc. america is far from perfect, but the public generally has a love and respect for the parks and i want to learn as much about it as i can then take it back. but at this rate it feels like it will all be gone before i can do anything of value.

it breaks my fucking heart.

Honestly same tipo eu to morando em Lós Angeles a três anos já e não consigo imaginar voltar para o Brasil no estado que está agora. Eu me acostumei com a segurança que é morar nos EUA.

I will def watch it. Discovering that basically every Brazilian footballer is a Bolsonaro supporter was awful. Liverpool's entire Brazilian factions is a big yikes.

they all are and I hate them all. I became what I despised: someone that wants them to lose every game.

thank God for the women's team and the perfect angel that is Marta.

I was so excited for Copa America and this and the Neymar mess has just ruined the whole thing. Welp. There's WWC and AFCON to be excited over

Thanks for the post, op!

I look forward to watching it. Even though things change do quickly, I appreciate a good doc to distill political shifts like this.

Also yes @ a woman directing this 👏👏

This is one of those things that I can't wrap my head around.

I can understand the mental gymnastics people make about corrupt politicians but voting for Bolsonaro (or Trump) is like saying ¨if this person was my neighbor, he would be killed in a week, that's how awful he is, but I'm going to vote for him anyway¨ like...

the mental gymnastics these people make are amazing and I can't stop thinking about this clip

West Virginia voter who says he lost three cousins in mine disaster tied to Don Blankenship tells @TomLlamasABC he's voting for the coal baron anyway.

They don't care, i have a friend who is gay and his conservative brother (that supports him btw) voted on bolsonaro proudly. Another said to me these days "i voted on him bc i didn't have a choice but didn't expect things would be so awful". My dad decided to pay the fine and no vote, now he only complains things are bad.
