I LOVE this film but I always have to mute and walk away from the opening scene because it kills me. Last time I didnt do that I was curled on my couch bawling my eyes out.

The soundtrack is still amazing

I forgot how dark the opening was when i watched it woth my daughter 6 months ago. My son was only 3 months old at the time and she spent almost an hour crying because she didn't want a jaguar to eat her brother 😐😐😐

Yeah, they edited out of the TV version I saw, so I was SHOCKED when I watched it on DVD.. it was disturbing. Disney doing the most as usual.
