PART ONE Twelve years ago, artists like Huey, Hellogoodbye and Shop Boyz were topping the charts. Many of the artists who created their major 2007 hits were never able to replicate the success. However, it's always fun to revist the past and remember what we were doing when we were listening to these songs back in the day. This list continues "part two" of our 2000's one hit wonder series. Let's take another look at the best one hit wonders of the year 2007!
CORBIN BLEU - PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT

Disney star Corbin Bleu's "Push It to the Limit" was made to cross-promote the 2007 Disney film 'Jump In!' In late January 2007, the song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at no. 14 and on the Hot Digital Songs chart at no. 5, with 77,000 downloads. The song peaked at no. 87 on the UK Singles Chart, staying on the Top 200 chart for 8 weeks.
MIMS - THIS IS WHY I'M HOT

So Mims may not technically be a "one hit wonder" but considering that this is his best charting song and based on the fact that he hasn't really put out any music in the last 6 years, he will be included on this list. "This Is Why I'm Hot" reached no. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, as well as no. 2 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart. The song also debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot Digital Songs chart, selling 140,874 downloads at the time. The success of the song in the United States saw a release in the United Kingdom in May 2007, where the single peaked at no. 18 on the UK Singles Chart.
ELLIOTT YAMIN - WAIT FOR YOU

"Wait For You" debuted on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at no. 67. The song was resurrected by airplay which improved the song's digital sales. It eventually became a hit single on multiple charts in the U.S. It peaked at no. 13 on the Hot 100, giving Yamin his only top 20 hit on the chart. It also became a top five hit for Yamin on the Pop 100, Pop 100 Airplay, and on the Hot Adult Contemporary chart. The song enjoyed great radio longevity, staying in the top ten of Mediabase's Mainstream Top 40 chart for four months before finally falling out of the top ten in early October 2007. The song was the 6th most played song of 2007 on Top 40 radio.
BABY BOY DA PRINCE - THE WAY I LIVE

Baby Boy Da Prince striked at the right time when all the ringtone rappers were hot on radio. His song "The Way I Live" became a success on urban radio and eventually peaked all the way at no. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming a big commercial success.
CRIME MOB - ROCK YO HIPS

Like Mims earlier, Crime Mob doesn't necessarily land in the "one hit wonder" zone thanks to their club hit "Knuck If You Buck" but because this song is their most successful and they have faded into oblivion, it will be included. Also, I had to fill this list with SOMETHING - I used all the good songs on the part one list. Anyways, "Rock Yo Hips" peaked at no. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100, no. 8 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop charts and no. 5 on the Billboard Rap chart.
PLAYAZ CIRCLE - DUFFLE BAG BOY

SO, we were listening to 2-chainz before we were listening to 2-chainz. Although the member of Playaz Circle went on to be a huge success in hip hop, the rap duo Playaz Circle only has one hit as a group. Thanks to a feature from Lil Wayne, the song peaked in the Top 40 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, reaching no. 15.
STONE SOUR - THROUGH GLASS

"Through Glass" is the second single from the rock band Stone Sour's second album. The song reached the no. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart in the US, where it remained for seven weeks, and no. 2 on the Alternative Songs chart. The song also peaked at no. 39 on the Billboard Hot 100 after crossing over to pop radio. It remains their most popular song to date.
