[Spoiler (click to open)]i honestly thought they were going to back to the q/alice relationship because alice was gonna be the one to die, i'm shocked they actually killed quentin. i mean it's entirely possible (and likely) this isn't actually the end for him and he'll be back in some capacity sooner rather than later but like... why this extra hoop to jump through lmfao. like i guess it made sense to end on such a huge cliffhanger/game-changer/whatever to entice the studio to give them another season, which they did, but still.

Honestly I knew this show wasn’t gonna be shit in that department the moment I found out they waited four seasons to even begin to seriously start exploring the whole relationship like that not to mention back in season 1 when they married off the one gay-coded man to a woman (although they kinda rectified it, I guess).

Lmao I played myself like a fool getting into this series and binge watching it in like 2 days MESS.

Actually I still have season 3 to tide me over for a little while cuz I haven’t watched it yet but GODDAMNIT I’m devastated and he’s not even in my top three of fav characters on this show lol

Edit: ONTD doesn’t read strikes again. I was consoling myself with the fact that at least since it was that character they killed off they’d be back for season 5 but now y’all telling me they’re done FOR REAL for real? Absolutely not. I will NEVER be okay.

I played myself too, I got into this show a couple of weeks ago and I feel so bad for people who were invested in Quentin for years, I only started really loving him in maybe Season 3 and I am so upset for this fictional character and his friends wtf...

im in the same boat, i disliked Q in the beginning (i blame having read the magicians a few years before watching lol it took a few seasons to get over my have for Q), but while he wasn't my fave character (eliot and margo) he was a really important one bc he was the one holding it all together :( i feel like their dynamics will be all out of wack now :(

Yeah omg this is ridiculous I can't with them, gosh aside from all the romance stuff, just the fact that Quentin worked so hard and they didn't even get a friendship moment. I warmed up to Quentin so much and it's so sad that they cut his life short like that. We go from a season with basically little-no Eliot to a season with no dorky Quentin.
