Lmao I played myself like a fool getting into this series and binge watching it in like 2 days MESS.

Actually I still have season 3 to tide me over for a little while cuz I haven’t watched it yet but GODDAMNIT I’m devastated and he’s not even in my top three of fav characters on this show lol

Edit: ONTD doesn’t read strikes again. I was consoling myself with the fact that at least since it was that character they killed off they’d be back for season 5 but now y’all telling me they’re done FOR REAL for real? Absolutely not. I will NEVER be okay.

I played myself too, I got into this show a couple of weeks ago and I feel so bad for people who were invested in Quentin for years, I only started really loving him in maybe Season 3 and I am so upset for this fictional character and his friends wtf...

im in the same boat, i disliked Q in the beginning (i blame having read the magicians a few years before watching lol it took a few seasons to get over my have for Q), but while he wasn't my fave character (eliot and margo) he was a really important one bc he was the one holding it all together :( i feel like their dynamics will be all out of wack now :(

Yup he became so endearing by the end and I wanted him to just LIVE and try and be happy because that’s a victory enough for the character. I also loved his friendship and interactions with Julia which was a big part of why I started liking the show more past season 1 when they weren’t at odds anymore. Julia, Alice, and Margo/Eliot don’t really have a tie to each other but Quentin was that connection and now I don’t know how they won’t be disjointed unless the loss bonds them... but I’m not even looking forward to more separate Fillory stuff

id be open to the loss making them more willing to listen to each other maybe, but Q like u said had the connections, and he was also the one who wanted the quests and cared most about saving the world so im real sceptical how the next seasons is gonna feel, when he isnt nagging everyone to care. like i get them wanting to kill Q if that happens in the books (idk i only read the 1st book) but leave it for the series ending! kill him later!

Supposedly this is a pretty big divergence from the books. I’m actually a quarter into the first book because after catching up I wanted to read it while waiting for eps. Now I don’t know how I’ll go back to it because Q is pretty annoying/dislikable in this book but with my newfound outpouring of l love lol for this character, it might be impossible to separate when reading
