It’s disgusting they’re not showing all the awards. They could easily do like a 6 minute mashup of all the songs to save more time. Scrap it altogether if it’s running long.

If they really want to give the below the lines their due, they need to improve the clip packages. It's so much more interesting when they make an effort to explain what each of the categories does and why it's important.

Why do the hell do they need 3 hours if they’re not going to let the song nominees perform their whole songs and aren’t broadcasting certain technical awards? They have no host so there won’t be any of those dumb bits they always do in the middle of the show.

I heard they wanted Queen to play some songs at the beginning of the show too 🙄 Queen would get a chance to perform one of their old songs in full but not the Oscar nominees for Best Original Song

cut the montages, cut the monologue at the beginning, cut the cutesy little sketches they're desperate will go viral, add more shady audience reaction shots, give the host like 10 different costume changes (doesn't matter, male or female)

oh and cut the speech by the president of the academy nobody cares
