Kind of OT but I saw Ron Howard's Beatles documentary when channel-surfing on the weekend and it got me to understand their appeal for the first time. Now I want to see more documentaries about music artists. Any recs?

Scorsese did a good one on George Harrison.

Dig! is my forever fave. Pearl Jam Twenty was also good.

Metal: A Headbanger's Journey is very well done.

Also, Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage. I only really listen to Rush in passing, but I loved this documentary.
