the trailer was definitely misleading and suggested a much more interesting storyline than the one the show actually went with. the premise was still there, buried underneath the disappointingly clichéd plot built around the male characters, and that made it all the more disappointing because you got those hints and tastes of what could have been. (for the record, i did like the show for its cinematography and cast and thought the writing was decent overall but it wasn't terribly imaginative and definitely not as progressive as marketed.)
