i reallyyy don't see why they need to add a new female to the band. it seems pointless when she'll prob only stick around for an episode or two and then they'll either go back to the three of them, or scarlett will decide she wants to join them again.

i completely forgot what happened to clay? but i liked him. the whole storyline with maddie/new guy/his ex seems like a joke too lol, like they were hung out once and suddenly his ex has a whole video and song ready? it seems really rushed.

i like jessie if for no other reason than i love her sister on mr robot. they're both such different talents.

ikr? is she going to hook up w/gunnar until he realises his otp is w/scarlett and they end the series w/their marriage or something?

ita about the maddie/jonah [jonas? whatever] being rushed

yeah i feel like that's going to happen too, even though they already kinda did that with autumn (minus the marriage) and then that other girl he dated on tour. i just wish they would've developed the gunnar/scarlett relationship more instead of it just being so on/off.

Why did they say season finale? Isn't is the series?

So, I haven't watched the newest episode, but I am caught up otherwise. I did recently start a rewatch from the beginning and everyone in this show is a horrible person and few of them seem to have grown. I feel like Deacon and Avery are the only ones to have some positive growth really.

I'm so sick of Juliette's selfishness. She is never going to change and they need to stop giving her huge impactful events since they don't have any effect on her being a bitch. I mean, really, when has she ever stepped up to take care of Cadence so Avery can do his thing?

Scarlett is my favorite voice, but all her plots suck and again, she cycles through this 'do I want to sing or not' thing every season, basically. And always finding some voice in unexpected places or some person she wants to help.

i feel bad for avery. it seems like he's always the one supporting and putting in the effort and juliette goes off and does other things. i'm still hoping they don't drag this dumb scientology storyline too much.

i'm guessing maddie/jonah is supposed to mimic deacon/rayna?

kind of predictable that gunnar would have a crush on the new singer girl.

Clay/Maddie was more Rayna/Deacon to me.

Instead of alcoholism, Clay had mental health problems, Maddie was on a come up, etc.

yeah. although i always felt like scunnar was supposed to be the rayna/deacon of the show. but they've been off/on so many times they make me angry.

now jonah is the big star and maddie is the young ingenue. idk if they fit into that narrative.

They couldn't give me Will/Gunnar, could they?? Let's be predicable and boring, let's introduce a new girl to be his new love interest. Grrrr (yeah, yeah, I'm not delusional, I knew there was no chance on earth that they would go the Will/Gunnar way, but it still pisses me off because they would be SO good Hahaha).

Don't care about all the other storylines. How mnny episodes left til the end?? I'm ready for this to end.
