I get the business idea behind it, and the financials probably looked great based on what they should have been able to expect the lead from GA to sell

They just didn't account for how low rent it made her seem lol. It's a supermarket. Cutting out all the normal music retailers for them as a new artist just makes it look like they didn't want you rather than the other way around.
