I read it in like two hours. So fucking predictable and dumb. And Hermione is so fucking stupid (not a spoiler if you're halfway through already).

the plays are better in person. i read the book when it came out too and it was fucking terrible, but works way better on stage

i mean there are still HUGE issues (delphi being a big one), but overall the stage production works (until WB finally gets the film rights)

ppl keep saying that it's better on the stage and yeah I get that but from what I've read there are ONTD-doesn't-read levels of inconsistencies and retconning between the canon in the original 7 books and what's in CC. so I've come to think of it as a great production of AU fanfic.
