yeah, the test is dumb and with how vague it is it seems pretty impossible that it's not entirely arbitrary. I even missed an entire question because I couldn't decide what to choose..like...so lame

A lot of the Pottermore quizes are like that. I think the one for sorting you asks you things like moon vs stars.

i think it's supposed to be like... whatever word you instinctively gravitate towards first reflects something about your personality? like word association.

I think most people missed the point (either that or I missed the point), but you are supposed to pick words that correspond to your happiest / happy memories. So you would pick sun if your memory was warm or took place on a sunny day or smooth / rough at whatever one suited that memory better. I don't think it is supposed to be like a random instinct test it's trying to pair as closely to canon in the way that your memories generate your patronus.

Idk like that makes sense to me but it took me more than five seconds to make that association and the test only gives you five seconds to answer so pffffft
