he now goes to an 'away program' that is teaching him how to gain better "life and social skills. It's been rough on the entire family having Collin away, but it will be beneficial in the long run.

Idk why but this makes me think of that Kidnapped For Christ camp in the Dominican Republic where one of these "charges" had panic attacks and they punished her severely if she had one and kept restricting her from things each time she had one. Just very ominous.

"away programs" are essentially programs were parents send their kids if they are not behaving the way they want them to. Its scary how much power parents can have over their kid/s.
