this whole tour is amazing. every single second was choreographed, i have no idea how they remembered it all

It's honestly still so impressive to me...their choreo was amazing IMO (not that I'm a great dancer), the sets, everything.

close your mind, sis.

ngl i keep waiting, too. but i don't think anyone can touch spice girls/nsync/backstreet boys/britney spears -- they all try, but they just don't. maybe i'm too stuck in the 90s and my childhood, but a lot of the pop stars these days lack something. :c

they dont have that all aroundness; the dancing, the singing, the different stereotypical "hot one" etc.

also i had the same thought about boybands not being the same and then i remembered all the shit these groups went through with lou and other management that i thought maybe its good. im sure the rise of the boyband/girl group will happen in another few years.

yeah like the biggest thing is, the groups today can't do the solid choreo of groups in the past. there are groups with the vocals, with the charisma, with the looks, but they don't put as much work into their stage performances. like the less said about 1d's stage presence the better. you don't need to go all out, but when their thing is standing around throwing banana peels? bye. 5h and little mix do choreo, but it's never as creative or fluid as DC or the spice girls used to do. it's like, on the one hand, a lot of these groups were worked hard by their management whereas the management teams of today do the least across the board, but it's like there's no effort to improve vocals or routines.
