Finally, the day came. You know what that means? Kyuhyun and I will be going to movies after school, isn’t that exciting? I hopped like a bunny all the way to school because simply, I was happy! So when I got there, I waited for Kyuhyun to show up, but when it was less than 5 minutes for classes to start, I dashed straight to my locker. What happened to him? I was getting worried when all of a sudden, one movie ticket fell out of my locker. I picked it up and saw a note that said: “Sorry I didn’t show up, but we can still go to the movies… right?”
Oh well, at least he notified me… through a note. I had this feeling that this day would be weird and long. I went to my first class, which was Math, and saw this huge lollipop placed on my desk. Obviously, I stared at all sides to see if someone left it, but apparently, no one cared so I took it in my hands and turn it around just to see another note: “You’re so sweet, did you know that?”
I smiled at Kyuhyun’s silliness and put the lollipop inside my bag. Soon, Donghae appeared and greeted me with this huge smile plastered on his face.
“Someone’s happy today,” I said, looking at Donghae sit on his chair. “Won’t you tell me what happened?”
“Well, I’m happy for you,” Donghae said, patting on my back.
Oh yeah, I forgot that I told Donghae that Kyuhyun invited me to movies. I thought he would be all cool, like normal, but he ended up all caps on me.
-Flashback-
Donghae said:
HE REALLY DID!?
Lee Sungmin said:
… yeah.
Why are you excited for that?
Donghae said:
BECAUSE… I DON’T KNOW!
YOU GUYS SHOULD BE TOGETHER, LIKE HONESTLY!
YOU GUYS ARE LIKE 2 COTTON CANDIES TOGETHER!
Lee Sungmin said:

“By the way, where’s Kyuhyun?” Donghae interrupted my train of thoughts.
“That’s the same thing I asked myself since I came here,” I said, sighing.
“Don’t tell me you guys won’t go to the movies…” Donghae pouted.
“Of course we are. He sent me this,” I took the ticket out of my bag and showed it to Donghae.
“Awww, he’s so cute.”
“ummm… okay? Guess what, Eunhyuk is behind you.”
Donghae immediately turns around and tries to cheer the sad Eunhyuk. Donghae tried to kiss him while Eunhyuk kept his distance away from Donghae, but at the end, Donghae convinced him saying that he was the best, handsome, sweet, loving boyfriend ever. Soon Eunhyuk cheers up and takes Donghae into a hug. I swear they are like that every day; someone tries to make the other sad, then the responsible one must cheer the other, then they kiss here and there, hugs, touchy here and there, then happy for the half of the day (the other half of the day probably mad for something they themselves didn’t do).
“Lee Sungmin?” someone called me from the entrance of the classroom. I just waved my hand so that person can know that I’m Lee Sungmin. The guy finally notices my presence and walks up to me with a rose. A rose?
“Someone told me to give you this,” he hands me the rose, “also this.”
He hands me a small piece of paper and leaves. I unfold it, read, then blush.
“Roses are beautiful… just like you.”
I hide the rose and the note before someone who I know comes to me and ask things like “who gave it to you?”
“Who gave it to you?” Donghae asked, standing just behind me.
“… I don’t know,” obviously I did know.
“Kyuhyun?” Donghae asked.
“Who else could it be?” I asked Donghae back, looking at him with those boring eyes.
“I don’t know… Siwon?”
Damn he was right, it could be Siwon to tease Kyuhyun… but did he know Kyuhyun wasn’t here? Anyways, I’ll ask him since the math teacher never appeared and I could see Siwon just in front of me talking to a guy.
“Hey Siwon,” I greeted with my most wonderful smile. “Can I talk to you for a minute?”
“Of course,” Siwon said and made a sign to the other guy to wait a minute. “What happened?”
“Did you send me a rose?” I asked straightforward.
“No, I didn’t. If I ever send you a flower, it would be a cactus.”
I frowned and hit him lightly on his arm. “You’re mean, did you know that?”
“No, I’m just telling you the truth.”
“Eh, whatever, thanks for your honesty though.”
For the rest of the day, I received small gifts like candies with different notes attached to them. Each note had one word, so I had to collect them all in order or the message wouldn’t make sense. This is what he wrote:
Hey Min ♥,
I hope you’re enjoying this little “game,”
Did you get the movie ticket?
Don’t wait for me, just go inside the movie theater
I’ll get there soon
To see you
Love,
Kyu.
How did he become from a really snarky and evil Kyu to a really cute and cheesy Kyu? I guess love conquers all, including the cold hearted ones.
So after all the notes, eating candies (I will have to go dieting again), and classes, finally it was time for everyone to leave school. Donghae and Eunhyuk cheered for me with a ‘have a nice date!’ I just shrugged, but when I turned around to walk towards the movie theater, I smiled like someone madly in love would do.
The moment I opened the door to enter, someone gave me a huge bucket of popcorn and lead me to where the movie would be shown. There were not many people inside, so I just sat down wherever I wanted even though I had to sit on seat E-10. 10 minutes later, the movie started with a couple kissing. Really? Kyuhyun wanted to watch this movie with me?
After 15 minutes later, I was too engrossed with the movie that I didn’t realize someone sat next to me. If it wasn’t for the straw poking my face, I would have never realized Kyuhyun sat next to me with his handsome face.
“Oh Kyu!” I threw the bucket of pop corn out of my way and instantly hugged Kyu.
“shhhhh!” Kyu put his index finger on my lips. “there are people watching the movie.”
I just pouted and turned my head to watch the movie. I could see from the corner of my left eye that Kyu was smiling. How sweet…
5 minutes more, and Kyuhyun put his right arm on the arm chair. Out of reflex, I put my left arm on the same arm chair and intertwine our hands. He immediately tightened his grip and all I did was blush.
At the end of the movie, the couple in the movie was doing… love… I was first shocked that Kyuhyun would take me to watch this movie, but then I blushed looking at how the woman kissed fervently to the man. I turned to look at Kyuhyun slowly just to see a blushing Kyuhyun stare at me. We immediately turn our heads other way around to stop staring.
“Min,” I turned around just to see Kyu cup my face. “You’re beautiful, did you know that?”
His face came closer to my face until our lips touched. It was a tender, sweet kiss.
“Min, would you be… mine forever?” Kyu asked, a slight blush creeping on his face.
“I’m afraid that you might leave me for Ryeowook or Zhoumi…”
“Ryeowook? Zhoumi? Hell no, I won’t leave you because of them. Min, I love you. I promise to you and to God that I will always love you and protect you from anything. Would you be my boyfriend?” Kyu once again asked me, this time looking serious and straight to me.
I couldn’t even utter one single word, so I just nodded my head slowly and keep my head down. Suddenly, Kyuhyun put his finger on my chin and move my head so I could stare at him.
“Thank you,” Kyuhyun whispered before he kissed me again.
This time, the kiss felt secure, warm, and even tenderer than the last one. If I could describe this love of ours, the word would be “treasure.” Why? A treasure is so hard to find, and when you feel like giving up, somehow that treasure let you find him. Isn’t that how it happened to me and Kyu? I almost gave up, but then I found love again, with Kyu. Isn’t this cheesy?
