Summary: Sungmin tries to make Kyuhyun open his eyes and finally notice him.

After Kyuhyun told me that he wasn’t going to follow Ryeowook anymore, I gave thanks to God that he finally made Kyuhyun realize his big mistake of the year.
“Poor you, Kyuhyun,” I told him in recess, a day before the prom. “You were going to ask him to be your prom date, no?”
“Yeah, but I’m glad he told me that before the prom, or I would have made a big mistake,” Kyuhyun smiled. “So you’re still my prom date? I promised to take you.”
“I don’t know if that was a promise because seriously… you were going to ask him if he could be your prom date.”
“You told me to get a new one because you told me you were not going.”
I just sighed and walked away. If I tell him to go jump from a cliff, would he do it? Stupid, right?
The day of the prom came, and I swore that I wouldn’t ask Donghae about the prom after the next day. So I logged on my MSN to see if there was anything interesting to read or do. A few minutes later, Kyuhyun logged on.
Kyuhyun said:

Lee Sungmin said:
Hi, aren’t you supposed to be getting ready?
Kyuhyun said:
Oh please, I’m not like girls that need the entire day to get ready.
I could be ready in 5 minutes before it starts.
Plus, I’m not going.
Lee Sungmin said:
Why not? You could go alone.
Kyuhyun said:
It’s kinda boring if you go alone.
Lee Sungmin said:
Okay… whatever you say man :S
So after I logged off because I didn’t want to talk with Kyuhyun, I received a call from Donghae. Why is Donghae calling me? Isn’t he supposed to be getting ready?
“Sungmin! Prom is cancelled!” Donghae shouted at the other end.
“Why? What happened?” I asked. Why would prom be cancelled?
“One of the seniors was kidnapped in the morning… One of those men who kidnapped the senior asked for $10,000,000. So we decided to donate some money from our savings for the party to the senior’s mom, which was just a mere $200.”
“Well, at least it’s something. I hope the senior is okay.”
“Yeah, so the thing is that we’re going to eat somewhere tonight, you wanna come?”
“No, I don’t think so.”
“Awww, come on! We haven’t gone out for a while.”
“I’m sorry, I can’t.”
After the police found the senior, everything went back to normal. The prom was moved for next weekend, since it couldn’t be done during the weekdays.
On Monday, Siwon gave me an invitation card with drawings of a soccer ball, basketball, golf balls, and foot balls. I looked at him with a clueless expression and he just smiled.
“What’s this for?” I asked since he didn’t understand my clueless expression.
“For Donghae’s and my party.”
“Umm, okay. You decided on the invitation card? Because this is not Donghae’s choice of card, I’m sure of it.”
“Yeah, he just told me when to do it.”
“Okay…”
“You’re going, right?”
“I’m not sure… My mom wouldn’t let me go after the incident with the senior.”
“Aww come on, I’m sure you’ll be able to be there!”
Siwon just hugged me all of sudden. I saw Kyuhyun looking at us, and just turned away to talk with someone near him.
A few days later, Siwon told me that his party would be the after party of the prom, but just for the juniors, not with the seniors altogether.
“Then I can’t go. I’m not going to prom, and you expect me to go to an after party that will be at 12 am?”
“Sorry Sungmin…”
“Why are you apologizing? It’s your and Donghae’s party.”
“It’s just that I wanted you to go…”
“Don’t worry, Siwon.”
So after the prom and all the party going, on Monday, everyone started to tell me how it was.
“Sungmin, can you believe this? Kibum didn’t tell me I look great!” Donghae said when no one was near us.
“Really? Oh jeez Kibum…”
“Yeah, instead, Eunhyuk told me that!”
“Oh, Kibum should be careful; I think his boyfriend will be taken away.”
“Sungmin… I think I… no, I’ll tell you on MSN.”
Just in time, Siwon appeared behind us and told me something from the after party.
“Guess what? Lady Gaga was drunk at our party.”
“Lady Gaga went to your party?!”
“No… I meant Heechul. Someone called him Lady Gaga because of the shoes he wears, so he will be Lady Gaga forever.”
I just laughed so hard that my stomach hurt.
“Are you serious? Well, that’s new to me. So what else happened?”
“He threw Kangin’s cigarette to a toilet, threw his purse at him and started to sing to Lady Gaga’s songs.”
“I should have gone to that party, too bad I didn’t.”
All this time I spent with Siwon talking about the party, I saw Kyuhyun looking at me once in a while….
