Oh how I love retail...Or how I learned to hate the teamsters

So, the good things! I got my voucher today to sit for my A+, now I just need to freshen up on the ancient esoteric schtuf(What are the components and boot order of MS-DOS?) and schedule the damn thing.

The second is PC CLUB, the company we all know and hate...er LOVE!!! is getting away from the Warehouse feel and getting cool stuff...at least Mr. Couch and company are making this location into this model. Top end cases, mobos, gaming gear, liquid cooling, etc...PLEASE PASS THE WORD and YES I DO WORK ON COMMISION!

OF MICE AND GAMERS!!!

Not so Nice Mice.

SO... We have been ramping up the stores inventory of GOOD COMPONENTS, ones WE drool over. Today was the BIG shipment with Lots of fast and high capacity Hard Drives, Mobos, Liquid Cooling, Case Mods and two big resellers stock ups as well as some custom systems including a CAD workstation with a $1500 graphics card. The damn Fed Ex shippers however decided to apparently play forklift bumper cars and drop pallets as well...We are having to write off the whole two pallets and/or take Fed Ex to task for destroying $40,000(OUR COST, NOT RETAIL) in vital inventory(More than half that was sold and was due today or loose the sales...there goes my much needed October Commisions.) Here's a few descriptor photos for you.

Here is a bounced, dropped, torn and moderately crushed $4,000 workstation.

Here is what happens when a forklift Jousts a LEON LEI case.

This is what happens to a Case of hard drives when Teamsters won't or can't read

A dropped and broken Pallet

And the worst part is the damn driver refused to take the shipment back, made us sign the delivery slip and wouldn't let us document damage of the merchandise...needless to say we are now in a CIVIL war with Fed Ex. The supervisor is coming out tomorrow after it took us all day calling them over this. But still, this cost us in reputation and sales, hurts the store, ME PERSONALLY, and our resellers...Ken-Sparky knows who I'm talking about...has a big computer sale at a Comp show in Gallup this weekend...all his stuff is on those Pallets and this just badly hurt him and Walt...or two biggest clients. ARRRGGGHHHH! Fuck Fed Ex!!!
