I'd say that 2009 - with the absence of BB, WG, and DBSK in Korea - wasn't the greatest year for awesome stuff. I had trouble identifying songs that I loved loved loved...here are my top "20" (not really in order except for like #1, and I grouped all songs from artist that I liked that year)

mmmkay GD plagiarized even more than I thought. I always thought Leaders sounded just like Drop it Like It's Hot, but how has no one yet pointed out how much the chorus sounds like Untouchable's "Wassup"??? Granted, it's pretty basic in terms of vocab and melody, but they are a bit too alike, no?

Gosh I love yongwonhi . They're always bringing to my attention bands I would have never checked out otherwise, my current fave is "Untouchable."

They're hip hop oriented, rap with lots of poppy melody. Reminds me of 8eight and some of Epik High or even Anyband
