I got a job!
Fun week.
Monday-Wednesday this week was so freakin hot.
Tuesday was an ok day. Mr. Bradly left the jazz band folders at Six Flags, so we didn't have rehearsal this week. Went outside to march in band. Holy hideous was it hot. Worked on my composition after school w/ Mr. Bradley. Dance was good. HOT.
Wednesday was ok. I got my SAT scores. I got a 1250 or 1920 w/ the new scoring. That's pretty good. I was hoping to break a 1300, but I'm not taking them again. This will qualify me for all the scholarships I want. And....I GOT A JOB!!! I am so excited. I am a summer employee at Kendall Buildings and Grounds. SAWEET! Watched our concert in chorus. We sounded decent. Dance was alright. Nothing out of the ordinary.
Thursday was a lot cooler, thank God. We had a meeting during lunch for the officers and some other special guests. We talked about things for next year, and let me tell you...it is exciting! Senior Ball: April 27. Senior Trip to hopefully Virginia Beach: May31-June 3. We talked about fundraisers and all this other crap. I can't wait. And elections began for next year. Hopefully I can get President for one final year! I can't believe this is the last elections I will ever be in at school. Stayed after til 5 for this Wellness Commitee Mrs. D'Agastino asked me to be on where we reviewed the district's nutrition and physical fittness policy. It was cool. Dance was kinda boring.
Today was grrrrrreat! We had the awards ceremony. I played in jazz band, as usual. I got to take the key in the key ceremony as all the juniors moved up. WE ARE SENIORS. oh man oh man oh man. it's so exciting. I got the AP US history award, my second bar for being on high honor roll for 3 years, perfect attendance, and this Kodak young leaders award. Sweet deal, yo. It was fun. Then we got our year books! They are so awesome. The cover looks like the iPod commercials and I am on the cover. Haha. Only downside...no index. Boo. Ate outside in the senior lounge. We signed yearbooks in chorus and english and gym. Haha. Had a rehearsal from 4:30-6 at dance to run the ballet. It went well. I think I am gonna like this show. Came home and did chores.
Well. Dance tomorrow and rehearsal Sunday and doing calc review for the final.
