The brother banter in this episode was BRILLIANT. I love that the bitchiness was there, but that it was all totally in character. The purgatory flashbacks were amazing and I actually really enjoyed Sam's flashbacks, too. And Sam being a handy man gave me bro feelings because Dean is probably the one who taught Sam half that stuff. ALSO SAM CALLING HIS DOG "DOG" AND COMPLIMENTING AMELIA'S ABILITY TO DO STICHES = AMAZING. And I absolutely adore the way they did the Leviathan in purgatory. I thought it was a good way of giving a nod to their monster nature while staying in budget and actually using CGI well.
It wasn't my favorite Edlund episode (although, really, there's some stiff competition there), but it was still really solid.
Oh, and Benny is amazing. I will totally get into a bar fight with anyone who says differently.
YES. I need a gif of her "that's what white traveling serial killers do" comment. OH SAM, HOW DO YOU EVER GET LAID, BRO.
Definitely! I rewatched today while I was doing GISHWHES stuff, too, and it was even better the second time around (especially when not having to deal with a crappy stream XD;).

Yeah, it wasn't my favorite ever because others were beyond awesome, but I really, really liked it. :D
