Autoblogging..

In Acura news..  The RSX might return?!  I don't see why they would bring it back considering the Civic/Si is basically the same car with more features.. ('course I would argue that it looks worse lol)

I've been contemplating my next automotive move.. and things are moving in very different directions right now..  one thought is to buy a used S2000 and just have a ton of fun on the winding roads.. the other is to buy a subdued and cheap commuter car.. like a used (old 2 seater type) Honda Insight.  The problem is that I suspect I'll have to replace the batteries shortly after buying one of those if I did because almost all of the ones I've seen so far are near the 100,000 mile mark... and I think the batteries are supposed to expire around there.  New batteries would cost an extra 2 grand on top so I'm not sure that's a great option..  'course used Insights are only about $9,000 which isn't really bad for a car that gets nearly 70mpg.

I thought about the 370Z and I'd still like to test-drive it.. but considering I could get a used Corvette Z06 for about the same money and the Corvette would get better highway milage.. it's sorta hard to justify.. (370Z = 26mpg, VetteZ06=29mpg) O_O;

Other cars on my test list:
Lotus Elise (track / weekend car only)
Acura NSX (would have to go used)
BMW Z4, BMW M3, or other BMW cars just to see what all the hubbub is
Mazda RX-8, Miata (I hate smiling cars though)
Aptera Type-2e  (I dunno if it's testable, this will be a must try whenever it's available though)
