We did a spot of Christmas shopping today at our favourite mall about 10 miles away. Well, it started to snow, so we decided, based on how people are here, to drive back.
In Cincinnati, we would get a dusting forecasted and people would run to the supermarkets and stop-n-robs and load up on milk, bread, and toilet paper. Yes, those three. Then the flakes would appear and a general spaz attack would occur on the roads.
We moved to Pittsburgh hoping the slightly more norterly crim would ensure more confidence to withstand the snow.
OMGWTF
Cincinnati seems like a winter-jaded arctic outpost in comparison. Okay, the roads got a wee bit slick, but everyone freaked out. Oh, and do you think there's a single roll of Charmin to be found on a store shelf right now? Nuh uh.
