First part
hereMy beloved garden
hereCheck the india tag for the rest of my india pictures!
After we visited the garden, we walked through to the even older part of the palace. I ran to this the center. "This reminds me of Jodha Akhbar! Is this where it was filmed?!" Our guide was smiling and noded and then stopped dead. "Jodha Akhbar?! You know this film?! WAH!!" Apparently parts were filmed here (with many set pieces added) others were re-creations of this place (with other embellishments) on a soundstage.. which kind of makes it even more impressive that i noticed!
Ew.. i just edited these photos and they look all dark and over sharpened. WTF. I did not even sharpen. They didn't look like this in photoshop. I think something got weird when they shrunk or something. =\ Oh well!
THIS IS SO CUTE AND I LOVE IT.
:( I hope i am able to fix these eventually. Cry.
But to get the next few pictures, you'll probably have to watch this scene from Jodha Akhbar. I was being Jodhaa!

Pretend there is a sword! And no confused spectators!
A dungeon! WITH REAL BATS!
I should probably have changed the ISO from dungeon to sun-scorched desert when we went outside. This is the giant thing that the palace food used to get made in! The other is a prop from the movie. can you imagine this being full of curry? INFINITE NOMS YOU GUYS!
This state is famous for these puppets. I have two!
This has been Thomas' profile picture since then. y u hide your face, thomas!?
Amer has 365 temples.. one for each day of the year!
The old walls surrounding the city
I can just picture a few hundred years ago when there were military horses and camels stationed here instead.
