classes are going really well, mostly because i've managed to go to them all and stay awake. having spanish everyday isn't as bad as i anticipated only because we've yet to open our books and learn any spanish. my teacher is so in love with latin culture that all we've done is learn about immigrants and food. i'm a bit nervous about how fast it's going to move once we actually start learning the language. passing is all i really care about at this point.
we went to raleigh this weekend. we were able to leave early enough so that we could stop and have lunch with stevie. we didn't do much in raleigh aside from drinking. mario came over saturday for a little while. cual es la fecha de hoy?
dustin and i had a really long in-depth discussion of future plans on the way back from raleigh sunday. it made me realize how incredibly close i am to being done with school and having to get a real job. we still have no idea where we're going to move or what we're going to do. he's thinking grad school and i'm thinking nursing school. hopefully that works out one way or another.
so, i finally broke down and started playing halo 3 again. i honestly never thought i'd pick it back up and i considered trading it in a few weeks ago. i hadn't played since last november, but i somehow managed to not really lose any of the little skills i had. along the same lines, we joined the gaming club. we were skeptical at first, but it's looking like it's going to be a hell of a lot of fun and a new outlet to meet people.
