(no subject)
a couple days ago we went to the park which was alot of fun. of course dustin couldn't keep from doing something obnoxious (swings are only fun for so long) so he started throwing apples. i could just see a small child come running up the hill, stopping right in his line of fire. after that we went to the mall to buy the first harry potter book since both of us seem to have misplaced our own copies. as soon as we walked in the door we were accosted by an old lady wanting us to register to vote. dustin refused to respond and kept walking while muttering some choice words about her under his breath.
so i've read two books the past 4 days. i read killing yourself to live by chuck klosterman and possible side effects by augusten burroughs. the klosterman book was good overall. the burroughs book was great. i read running with scissors earlier this year which helped me understand alot of the references regarding his family. i absolutely love his humor and wit. he's definitely an author i can relate to. i think i have a new found obsession with memoirs. i started dry today which is another burroughs memoir. i haven't heard anything about it, but i'm sure it'll be just as entertaining as possible side effects.
