Do you see him? He's there... at the bar. Hunched over a beer, leather jacket creased and dusty from only God and the Devil know what. Don't go up to him, not just yet. There's going to be a moment, and maybe you'll see it, but it'll shift. All that he's seen in the day, all the worry and doubt that he pushes down inside of him... it'll get pushed deeper. This is just the time when he's trying to lie to himself that he's just like all the other guys at the bar.
"Gimmie another."
It's a routine, drinking the pain... drinking it all away and washing his sins along with the rest. You might want to watch this, it's not much... not to the rest of us but to him it's just another thing that gives him away. Those quick reflexes that he's tuned over the years, the way he grabs that beer when it slides across the bartop? It's not just skill... that's almost natural... akin to who he is.
He's busy now... we'll come back later.

His brother, younger brother... but most times it's pretty hard to see the difference. It's the snark... maybe the attitude, but it's give and take with the two of them. The rifle? He knows how to use it... don't worry about him.

Innocence, naivety... his mother. He's only four. Yes, it's young... very young to see so much. It's not ending though, only just beginning for him. His Dad... saw something he shouldn't have... do you know who his mother was?
