This week has been no prize for fun things I've had to do, and I'm honestly glad it is about over.

I'm ready for the weekend in the worst way. I'm being pampered this weekend -- time for my dye job. I have an appt to get my hair colored, and I'm looking forward ( Read more... )

I will be seeing various doctors more often than I prefer over the next two weeks:

• Ben was seen in the Urgent Care on Saturday for an ear infection.
• Ben needs to be re-checked in 14 days by his regular doctor.
• Nick needs a follow-up chest X-ray for his pneumonia
• I have an appt scheduled on the 13th for a hormone recheck -- bloodwork and doctor ( Read more... )

Back to work after ten days, and it basically sucked.  Not horrible, work-wise, but I'm still carrying a cough and sound like someone else due to the upper respiratory crap I developed over last week.  I'm feeling better except for the abdominal muscles I've pulled coughing my lungs up.  And my incisions from 5 months ago hurt.

Well, it's been a busy morning at work -- I worked and wrote something for a friend of mine in between all the incubations. Anyway, the day is about out, I wrote nine pages and have sent it off, and I'm about ready to head home to meet the bus.

Today has gone by in a whirlwind -- the day was busy at work, and now I'm home and waiting on the school bus. It is late, because the bus driver was having them do a fire drill today (I know because I went by the switch point, as they were unloading out the back end).

I am, once again, wireless at my house. My router up and died back before I had surgery. I had bought one right after I had said surgery, but it's taken me this long to find the time to hook it up. I made an attempt on Monday, and the hub I had would not recognize one of the cords. So I had to get a new cord, and wah-la! It works. I think there is ( Read more... )
