I knew he was gonna blog during my hiatus... =w=
Nemuri Kyoshiro, the Long Journey will Finally Come To an End Tonight
He finished the 118th performance of NK.
Only one more day left.
It'd be a lie if he said he won't miss the stage, but he thinks what he wants the most right now is to be freed from the physical pains he's been enduring for so long.
The physical burdens of playing Kyoshiro were much greater than he'd anticipated before the stage began.
It has particularly been taxing on his hips, neck, and knees.
He was able to keep his stamina up by training 2 hours or more before every stage, but it still didn't compensate for the overworked body that kept failing, one part after another.
"I wish I could just change my body parts...."
The pain worsened after the Tokyo Return Performances started.
Even while sleeping with fatigue, the pain wakes him up over and over again, which makes him feel even more tired in the morning.
But he thinks even this pain will be just a part of the memory of the 120 long performances.
He doesn't want to write a sentimental diary after the last performance. He doesn't even want to feel melancholy then.
He wants to part with his friends of NK with smiles, and keep polishing himself so he can be on the same stage with them again someday.
The NK stage has had a great influence on his life and future, and he hopes it has done the same for everybody else.
He will continue giving the performance his all until the very end.
He says he will make history with this last performance.
For all of you who supported Nemuri Kyoshiro,
thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I will return someday.
Kyoshiro, here I come!!!
At the end, he includes a picture taken at Tanaka Ken's birthday party.
