Today really kinda sucked
I'm sure noone really needs to know the details of my day but it makes me feel better to reciunt them anyways.
In no particular order, today's highlights include:
• my 3 yr old son spilling an unidentified white powdery substance (assumed to be baking soda) all over his face, screaming down the house in pain and almost necessitating a ER visit (althoug Aunt Eye Doctor) told me he should be ok
• my boss telling me I need to give him a motion to dismiss by noon on Sunday knowing full wll I can't work on it from 4 today until afyer 9 tomorrow night
• forgetting the snack my daugter was supposed to bring in for the whole class today
• being told that my long hours at work can count against me in a custody proceeding
• spilling coffee all over my desk keyboard and skirt this am
• oversleeping, missing the bus b/c of my son's eyes, missing the subway, realizing I asked the patalegal to serve a document without any exhibit tabs......
Now I get to rush home and cook for Shabbos. Because it's my "job" as Mommy, bathe the kids, do the dishes and laundry...is it no wonder I'm consistently unable to wake up on time?
On an entirely unrelated note, can anyone suggest a substitute for reading fanfic on the Palm Pre? ISilo is not supported (which means I lose my 5 year old travel fic library) and the web browser doesn't allow for offline reading.
