So, I'm writing a book...well, co-authoring a book. It's about Science in the Renaissance (and no, I won't bore you about the semantics of using the word 'science' with respect to the period between 1450 and 1642, which years my co-author and I are using as working boundaries for the 'Renaissance). It's for 10-year-olds.
We're starting the actual writing tomorrow...I'm hoping it'll be kind of fun. I like doing introductory lectures on this stuff, so hopefully this'll be good too. And I get paid for it! Yay money.
The one trouble is that my friend and I are prone to Studio 60 breaks. It wasn't too bad to watch The Long Lead during dinner. But then Lisa wanted to see a few bits from The Wrap Party... and then we got to talking, and ended up on West Wing, so we had to watch the first Josh/Donna kiss...yeah. Our dinner break ended up being 3 hours, and I ate way too much Pad Thai. Why, Aaron Sorkin, why are your shows so addictive???
Tomorrow we'll be good. Really.
