I was speaking with a member of the NDP. She is a member of the British Columbia parliament, or the federal parliament, I forget which. The evening was well advanced.
A polite topic of conversation is family. I was duly asked. I duly answered. 'I'm a twin' the legislator replied. I mentioned that, being inexperienced in the parenthood business, I don't know how being the father of twins differs from, say, having sisters as offspring. Off-handedly, I said that as far as I could tell, there is no sibling rivalry.
'Yet.' was the terse reply.
Twins are small (twins normally are) and will probably hit puberty a bit later than usual. So, perhaps, about 2021 or 2022? Is anyone planning a ten year manned expedition to Jupiter around that time? I'd like to volunteer.
