8-11 are huge for me. I've always said that I have far more acquaintances than true friends. Most people I know in real life I consider acquantances because of how they respond to 8-11 above.
#7 I struggle with. I'm a good blogger/commentor but I live on the internet and I overcommunicate. One of my sisters is computer illiterate and the other is very quiet and reserved. Unfortunately for me they both do not read my lj and one of them lives out of state. Every so often she'll send an email and throw out carelessly, "What's up?" I always want to point her to my latest journal entry. But in the end I choose to view it as not personal to me. It's their issue and it doesn't mean they love me less.
I'm really hitting these randomly.
#1 I disagree with because I have some friends that I'd trust with anything, that I've known since high school but because our lives are so different and busy I just don't talk to that often. When we do finally catch up it's like no time has passed between us at all and I treasure those friendships.
#2 I feel like I have enough love to spread by sending cards to whomever I think of.
#3 If I'm free and a mere acquaintance invites me to a party...and this acquaintance is an acquaintance just because I don't know them all that well...not because they've violated 8-11 above....I try to say "Yes" to what shows up. You never know what will happen at that party.
