I think it might be Frenchie Davis. At least, I think that's her name. Either way, Hairspray scares me now because Hailee Duff is/was playing Amber :-(

She was on American Idol, but got eliminated in the final 16 or something like that. She was in Dreamgirls as Effie and is nominated for an Oscar.
Amanda Bynes is playing Penny in Hairspray.
