As I was going through a stash of old games, I came across an old X-box game my 'lil bro got a while back, entitled; Future Tactics: The Uprising

Well, Future Tactics isn't a full-time RTS. It sorta combines turn based with RTS.
Y'see, you start off with your characters turn. You are prompted to select a character to move. They are then given a circle, which borders their movement range, to move in (different characters have different sized movement ranges.) You can then either choose to attack, or end your turn. You can end your turn in three different ways.
The first is by resting. This option lets your character merely end his/her turn.
The second is shielding. When you select this command, your character will be shielded for the remainder of your turn and the enemies next turn. However, you will be unable to use the shield for two more turns, and your character who used the shield's movement range will be decreased.
The third is by healing. You can use this to recover some HP, but during this time, if your character is hit, he/she will take lots more damage.
And yeah, AW:DS is pretty fun. If you want a diehard strategy game. Future Tactics is better for mindless blasting. XP
