I sent out a few podcast waiver requests and Projekt records is totally behind the podcast thing. They gave me permission to play anything in their catalog/back catalog. That is alot of music. Metropolis has given me a webcasting waiver but it explicitly does not cover podcasts :( Looks like the darkwave show is a go...

Today I got my first 2 affirmative permissions. One is from Anders Manga and the other is a label called No Phase Records. Through them I got the rights for 5 synthpop/electronic artists Futurisk, Ksine, MWA, Shakespace, and Receptors. I hope this is a trend :)

Great show! (I had a few issues with the venue which I will outline in a following rant post but this isnt the time.) The opening band was Q and not U from DC. Very interesting music. I wrote the lyics to this song in that state between sleep and wakefulness. I remember running downstairs to write it down. I even wrote something about the music which is undecipherable to me now, some kinda chord progression / strum pattern. Found it crumbled up on my desk the other day. I remember teling mudo about it once but couldnt find it then. ( Lyrics and tab behind the cut. )
