6. Mike Tyson's Punch Out(NES) - The first game I ever played on an NES...we rented the system(remember when you could still do that?). I got all the way to Soda Popinski in about 4 hours. Mike Tyson is ridiculously hard to knock out.
7. Mortal Kombat II(Arcade, SNES) - I used to pass shifts at work by daydreaming about this game. That tells you all you need to know really. Scorpion rules!
8. Killer Instinct(Arcade) - The first one, not the garbage sequel. I could make a day out of a dollar with this game, just chewing up all the competition. Quarters lined up across the front of the machine. I whipped ass on it at the Ferguson Center as well.
9. Grand Theft Auto 3(PS2) - I don't think I need to describe the impact of this game.
10. Super Metroid(SNES) - I had the same issue picking either this or Castlevania: SOTN, but after introspection, I had to pick this one...the scene with the Mother Brain and the Metroid at the end is heartbreaking and done with absolutely no dialogue whatsoever, whereas Castlevania's cheesefest voiceovers almost ruined the whole thing.
